25Wherefore, putting away falsehood, speak ye truth each one with his neighbor: for we are members one of another.26Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath:27neither give place to the devil.28Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have whereof to give to him that hath need.29Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for edifying as the need may be, that it may give grace to them that hear.
30And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, in whom ye were sealed unto the day of redemption.31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamor, and railing, be put away from you, with all malice:32and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, even as God also in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 5
1Be ye therefore imitators of God, as beloved children;2and walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odor of a sweet smell.3But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as becometh saints;4nor filthiness, nor foolish talking, or jesting, which are not befitting: but rather giving of thanks.5For this ye know of a surety, that no fornicator, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.
6Let no man deceive you with empty words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the sons of disobedience.7Be not ye therefore partakers with them;8For ye were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord: walk as children of light9(for the fruit of the light is in all goodness and righteousness and truth),10proving what is well-pleasing unto the Lord;11and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them;12for the things which are done by them in secret it is a shame even to speak of.
13But all things when they are reproved are made manifest by the light: for everything that is made manifest is light.14Wherefore `he' saith, Awake, thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall shine upon thee.15Look therefore carefully how ye walk, not as unwise, but as wise;16redeeming the time, because the days are evil.17Wherefore be ye not foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
18And be not drunken with wine, wherein is riot, but be filled with the Spirit;19speaking one to another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord;20giving thanks always for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to God, even the Father;21subjecting yourselves one to another in the fear of Christ.22Wives, `be in subjection' unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
23For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the church, `being' himself the saviour of the body.24But as the church is subject to Christ, so `let' the wives also `be' to their husbands in everything.25Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it;26that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word,27that he might present the church to himself a glorious `church', not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
28Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his own wife loveth himself:29for no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as Christ also the church;30because we are members of his body.31For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh.32This mystery is great: but I speak in regard of Christ and of the church.
33Nevertheless do ye also severally love each one his own wife even as himself; and `let' the wife `see' that she fear her husband.
James 4
1Whence `come' wars and whence `come' fightings among you? `come they' not hence, `even' of your pleasures that war in your members?2Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and covet, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war; ye have not, because ye ask not.3Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may spend `it' in your pleasures.4Ye adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? Whosoever therefore would be a friend of the world maketh himself an enemy of God.5Or think ye that the scripture speaketh in vain? Doth the spirit which he made to dwell in us long unto envying?6But he giveth more grace. Wherefore `the scripture' saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace to the humble.
7Be subject therefore unto God; but resist the devil, and he will flee from you.8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye doubleminded.9Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.10Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall exalt you.11Speak not one against another, brethren. He that speaketh against a brother, or judgeth his brother, speaketh against the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judgest the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.
12One `only' is the lawgiver and judge, `even' he who is able to save and to destroy: but who art thou that judgest thy neighbor?13Come now, ye that say, To-day or to-morrow we will go into this city, and spend a year there, and trade, and get gain:14whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. What is your life? For ye are a vapor, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.15For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall both live, and do this or that.16But now ye glory in your vauntings: all such glorying is evil.
17To him therefore that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

17所以我说、且在主里确实的说、你们行事、不要再像外邦人存虚妄的心行事．18他们心地昏昧、与 神所赐的生命隔绝了、都因自己无知、心里刚硬．19良心既然丧尽、就放纵私欲、贪行种种的污秽。20你们学了基督、却不是这样．21如果你们听过他的道、领了他的教、学了他的真理、22就要脱去你们从前行为上的旧人．这旧人是因私欲的迷惑、渐渐变坏的．23又要将你们的心志改换一新．24并且穿上新人．这新人是照着 神的形像造的、有真理的仁义、和圣洁。
25所以你们要弃绝谎言、各人与邻舍说实话．因为我们是互相为肢体。26生气却不要犯罪．不可含怒到日落．27也不可给魔鬼留地步。28从前偷窃的、不要再偷．总要劳力、亲手作正经事、就可有余、分给那缺少的人。29污秽的言语、一句不可出口、只要随事说造就人的好话、叫听见的人得益处。
30不要叫 神的圣灵担忧．你们原是受了他的印记、等候得赎的日子来到。31一切苦毒、恼恨、忿怒、嚷闹、毁谤、并一切的恶毒、〔或作阴毒〕都当从你们中间除掉．32并要以恩慈相待、存怜悯的心、彼此饶恕、正如 神在基督里饶恕了你们一样。
以弗所书 5
1所以你们该效法 神、好像蒙慈爱的儿女一样．2也要凭爱心行事、正如基督爱我们、为我们舍了自己、当作馨香的供物、和祭物、献与 神。3至于淫乱、并一切污秽、或是贪婪、在你们中间连提都不可、方合圣徒的体统。4淫词、妄语、和戏笑的话、都不相宜、总要说感谢的话。5因为你们确实的知道、无论是淫乱的、是污秽的、是有贪心的、在基督和 神的国里、都是无分的．有贪心的、就与拜偶像的一样。
6不要被人虚浮的话欺哄．因这些事、 神的忿怒必临到那悖逆之子。7所以你们不要与他们同伙。8从前你们是暗昧的、但如今在主里面是光明的、行事为人就当像光明的子女．9光明所结的果子、就是一切良善、公义、诚实．10总要察验何为主所喜悦的事。
11那暗昧无益的事、不要与人同行、倒要责备行这事的人．12因为他们暗中所行的、就是提起来、也是可耻的。13凡事受了责备、就被光显明出来．因为一切能显明的、就是光。14所以主说、你这睡着的人、当醒过来、从死里复活、基督就要光照你了。15你们要谨慎行事、不要像愚昧人、当像智慧人．16要爱惜光阴、因为现今的世代邪恶。
17不要作糊涂人、要明白主的旨意如何。18不要醉酒、酒能使人放荡、乃要被圣灵充满。19当用诗章、颂词、灵歌、彼此对说、口唱心和的赞美主．20凡事要奉我们主耶稣基督的名、常常感谢父 神。21又当存敬畏基督的心、彼此顺服。
22你们作妻子的、当顺服自己的丈夫、如同顺服主．23因为丈夫是妻子的头、如同基督是教会的头．他又是教会全体的救主。24教会怎样顺服基督、妻子也要怎样凡事顺服丈夫。25你们作丈夫的、要爱你们的妻子、正如基督爱教会、为教会舍己．26要用水借着道、把教会洗净、成为圣洁、27可以献给自己、作个荣耀的教会、毫无玷污皱纹等类的病、乃是圣洁没有瑕疵的。
28丈夫也当照样爱妻子、如同爱自己的身子．爱妻子、便是爱自己了。29从来没有人恨恶自己的身子、总是保养顾惜、正像基督待教会一样．30因我们是他身上的肢体。〔有古卷在此有就是他的骨他的肉〕31为这个缘故、人要离开父母、与妻子连合、二人成为一体。32这是极大的奥秘、但我是指着基督和教会说的。
33然而你们各人都当爱妻子、如同爱自己一样．妻子也当敬重他的丈夫。
雅各书 4
1你们中间的争战斗殴、是从那里来的呢．不是从你们百体中战斗之私欲来的么。2你们贪恋、还是得不着．你们杀害嫉妒、又斗殴争战、也不能得．你们得不着、是因为你们不求。3你们求也得不着、是因为你们妄求、要浪费在你们的宴乐中。4你们这些淫乱的人哪、〔淫乱的人原文作淫妇〕岂不知与世俗为友、就是与 神为敌么．所以凡想要与世俗为友的、就是与 神为敌了。5你们想经上所说是徒然的么． 神所赐住在我们里面的灵、是恋爱至于嫉妒么。
6但他赐更多的恩典．所以经上说、『 神阻挡骄傲的人、赐恩给谦卑的人。』7故此你们要顺服 神．务要抵挡魔鬼、魔鬼就必离开你们逃跑了。8你们亲近 神、 神就必亲近你们。有罪的人哪、要洁净你们的手。心怀二意的人哪、要清洁你们的心。9你们要愁苦、悲哀、哭泣．将喜笑变作悲哀、欢乐变作愁闷。10务要在主面前自卑、主就必叫你们升高。
11弟兄们、你们不可彼此批评．人若批评弟兄、论断弟兄、就是批评律法、论断律法．你若论断律法、就不是遵行律法、乃是判断人的。12设立律法和判断人的、只有一位、就是那能救人也能灭人的．你是谁、竟敢论断别人呢。13嗐、你们有话说、今天明天我们要往某城里去、在那里住一年、作买卖得利．14其实明天如何、你们还不知道。你们的生命是甚么呢．你们原来是一片云雾、出现少时就不见了。15你们只当说、主若愿意、我们就可以活着、也可以作这事、或作那事。
16现今你们竟以张狂夸口．凡这样夸口都是恶的。17人若知道行善、却不去行、这就是他的罪了。
